Everyone is reading into this too much.

Kobe challenged Artest in the second half, Artest accepted the challenge and had an off night. It happens.

Problemis, as great as Ron Ron can be, he can literally shoot you out of games at times.

His shot had an off-night, this much is certain.

His decision making and dribble-drives in the 4th quarter were more than an off-night. Let's not give the guy a free pass just because we're over-excited about finally having some balls on our team.

He clearly asks to be judged, so I'm going to judge:

He can't be trusted. Not after what I saw last night. That was a meltdown. Pure and simple. Getting torched on the defensive end, then running down the court and making a fool of yourself on the offensive end, all the while jawing at one of the fiercest offensive players in the league -- just embarrassing. I thought he was going to lose it. Seriously. The chances of him going into the fifth row to lay a beatdown on some whiteboy sap are better than him leading this team at crunch time. I hope I'm wrong, though.

Artest had been playing really well before the loss against Lakers. He just had an off night shhooting game....he took the challenge vs Kobe and lost. If he had just made 30% of the threes he took, we would have won. Why are people so mad at him.

I thought Ron learned this was the team game, not his personal game.
This man thought he can take over the world?

Please someone tell him how to have a team work. If Ron is 50%+, I have nothing to say, but if you are 40%-, and still did not realized it. Man! this is the cancer in the team.

LOL, who cares about that? It seems a lot of people are enthralled by his grittyness, wins be damned. As long as Ron is fiery and almost attacks opposing players once in a while, it's OK if he costs us some games through his selfish and idiotic play.

a win is a win and he proved tonight he can win ball games. He's taking the challenge and hopefully we'll be better for it.

Pretty much this was Tmac also, except Tmac didn't put his heart on defense every night.

My personal favorite is his signature shot - the "fadeaway, off-balance, contested 3 with 20 seconds on the shotclock." It's the on court equivalent of him taking a 3 week hiatus from the regular season to work on his rap album with a bunch of fat hoochies. I mean, sweet Jesus in-a-potato-chip that guy's a frickin' r****d.

My guess is that you didn't watch the game tonight, or if you did you posted this before he won the game for us.

I can only assume your moniker is Rokets"Baylor"Fan rather than Rockets"ChicagoBear"Fan or you would know something about Defense.
