If he shoots 55% down low, why do you want him shooting out trey there less than 35%. Simple math. You also lose rebounding position with him lurking outside. That trey was a out-of-clock desperate play as all his other trey except the one he made in rookie year. Once he starts missing, you guy will be crying. :D

Artest with two clutch plays on both ends of the court to win the game.

    Epic 3 by Yao

Good game by Battier, but he made a horrible pass that should've been a turnover at the end, but luckily the Bobcats didn't get the ball and Ron put the Rockets ahead for good.

It might not have been pretty, but a win is a win.

    Time to murder SA tomorrow.

Great points. I wish to add something to your #1, 2 and 11:

Re #1: for this season, RA should replace Ron when he plays in the
Me-Ron mode and his shots are not falling.

Re #2: RA should never play Yao for the whole quarter. Once he sees Yao is tired he should replace him for a second wind. When Yao slows down, he can't catch inbound pass and is prone to TOs and offensive fouls. Be flexible and quick with Yao's rotation. The 4th quarter without a fresh Yao is detrimental to Rox offense and defense.

Re #11: Yao occasionally in the high post and shoots 18-20 footers and even the 3-pt. shots is not a bad option for Rox offense, especially when he's not effective in the low due to double- or treble- teams.

I agree with your other points.

come on, my comment there was just lamentation, not a suggestion :) any 20% 3pt shooter should not shoot at all, C or F or G.it beats me why rox keep shooting tons of 3 when they are icy cold.

Yao is a player with so nice effiencey. more shots should be executived by him when he haven't felt tired in the first three quarters.

or sometimes he will be the factor for the game loss because the turnovers and the unstable shooting in last quarter.

New idea to replace our typical 4th quarter strategy. Instead of dumping into Yao on the left block like almost every play, make Yao our 3pt specialist and let Artest post up. ;)

why is that ab (2-12) and ron (5-12) shot have more shot attempts than yao (9-11)? if yao got more shots this game would of not been as close at least we won. but another game when yao only shot 3 times 2nd half. ra needs to make an adjustment.

I wonder if we'll take a run at G.Wallace in the offseason. Guy is a beast.

agree....Yao is much more efficient than AB & Ron today
AB should give the ball to Yao more often when he is not shooting well(2/12) and Yao is not fronted
