As far as the Rockets' chances of winning the championship is concerned, I'll only see a reason to jump back on it if the Rockets can beat the Lakers three weeks from tomorrow night (April 3rd) in LA.
been rockets fan since 86 when move here to houston from the philippines. dont know why everytime rockets lose a game all the fans go crazy and say it over this and that. it just one game in a 82 game season. judge them when it all over season and post season. will always be a rockets fan!!!!! even if they go 0-82 just got to support your team
ooooh man i could imagine how guys would be on here. They freak out and go crazy after one lost. But to lose 82 games in a row. hahaha wow thats something else.
I've never got off the bandwagon... I'm in for it for the WHOLE season, not just playoffs unlike some people.

I like this team 10x more than the one I was seeing in Nov, Dec, and the end of Jan-beginning of February. I'm not one that oscillates between "We're a TITLE CONTENDER!!!" and "We SUCK!!!!" I believe we could and can beat SA, Den, Dal, Por, and Pho if we see them in the postseason. I think we have a chance, but not a good one, of beating Utah, NOH, and the Lakers. I think seeding will be paramount to our postseason success, and it's a total dogfight out there right now. Evan
You're right. We were probably three or four possessions away from winning the game. If we cut down on turnovers, we win.
Great thread and good that you adressed the ones who attacked Yao, because he's definetly not to blame. Getting only a handful of touches in one half is downright ridiculous !! The offense works around Yao just like it did around Olajuwon. Can you picture a Rockets game back in the day and Olajuwon only getting 2 or 3 touches in a half ?? Hell no, the guys would make sure Olajuwon would touch it at least 2-3 times in about 4-5 possessions. That's maybe 2-3 minutes where Olajuwon would get the ball more than Yao. Now we all know Olajuwon would get upset and call for the ball, something Yao does not do except once this year when he was upset and went to bench saying: why am I even in the game or something along those lines. The team has got to accept Yao does not demand it and is as humble a leader you can have, so just pass him the freaking ball. That means you too Artest !!
