Well if It was under JVG and his strict system, do you think he would even allow Yao to be unable to seal off the defender or box a guy off? Heck no, JVG would always be strict to him and towards everybody in the team.

Adelman's laid back personality doesn't fit this team at all. I like Adelman as a coach, but neither of our stars fit for Adelman, not even Ron..

If Ron doesn't fit in a laid back personality coach, then for sure he won't fit in any system. For sure, Ron wouldn't fit in Jeff's strict system.

Great example? Bonzi. Jeff wouldn't play him; Rick does. Funny, how Rick's willingness of his laid back personality brought in Artest.

    How?

Rick plays Bonzi. Bonzi is a decent role player. We trade Bonzi for an almost expiring contract. We trade that contract and draft picks for Artest. With Jeff... what would have happened? Bonzi would not have picked up his player option with us, and that's that.

Why should we need a coach that will use strict methods? Shouldn't Yao and Tracy have the balls to step up and play fundamental basketball without someone spoon feeding them?

Why does anyone, including coach, fans and teammates, need to tell Yao that he has to get his 300 pound body and seal his man off? That's just fundamental basketball. If you want to teach a player fundamental basketball, you send them to the D-League or tell them to step up. Which one suits Yao more?

Jeff's strict system has flaws as well. Obviously. He forced non shooters into shooters... see Derek Anderson and Vassilis Spanoulous.
