i always cringe when air bull tries to draw a line between the charges battier takes and the charges he considers true flops. battier is a true flopper, and while he'll take some serious charges every now and then, the reality is that if he wasn't taking a dive on purpose, his ass wouldn't be on the floor all the time. nba players don't just get knocked down that easily. yao being the exception, since he seems to just trip over himself all the time.

It's a trick question. Nobody should EVER play in Utah.

Don't forget about Floppin' Allen Iverson.

Throws his body all over the place if someone breathes on him.

Also: Devin Harris, Derek Fisher (again), Sasha Vujajic

Kyle Lowry- seems like he's been coached under Sloan which is a very good thing. His discipline, vision, smart controlled play, ability to run the offense is very compelling considering he's only turning 23 in a couple weeks. As a matter of fact he (Lowry) reminds me of a Deron Williams minus a few inches/shooting ability. The latter can definitely be improved upon.

CP3. The biggest sham-wow of them all because he flops under the radar.

I don't consider taking charge flopping, not the way Battier does it. If you get to the position before the offensive player and falls down when he hits you, that's a charge, fair and square. There's no cheating there. With the way they officiate the game, you are REQUIRED to fall down to get a charge, otherwise it's a blocking foul.

True, sometimes the hit is not hard enough for a fall. But you have to fall or the foul is on you. Offensive players consistently jump into a stand-still defender and get the call if the defender does NOT fall, which is ridiculous but it's reality.

    These are the real flopping:
    1. Post defender falls down when the post up player backs him down.
    2. All offensive flopping is lightyears worse than defensive flopping.
    3. Last night, I just realize how despicable players like Gasol are when they flop on setting a pick.

It can be broken down into three categories: thugs/bullies, floppers, and white boys. If you qualify for at least two of those three, you're probably a great candidate to be a Utah Jazz.

Bruce Bowen would fit very nicely with Jerry Sloan.

Varejao, Ginobili, Scola, Oberto, (notice a trend here?), Dirk, Bowen, Parker, Milicic, and Vujacic.

Battier may flop, but he's not dirty enough to fit in.
