Los Angeles @ San Antonio -- Well we all want the Lakers to win... obviously.. Cleveland @ Phoenix - I hope Cleveland can win this also.. less chance we get knocked out of the playoffs and faster we clinch.
Suns? Why Suns? Doubt Kobe will get MVP this season, I think Wade is even ahead of Kobe right now... but LeBron is def. ahead.
its highly unlikely we miss the playoffs. we're 7 games above suns. and unless we go on a losing streak, we'll be fine. i want the suns to win tho, they're better than their record shows, while imo the cavaliers record shows otherwise.
Yeh I think we're safe enough so I would like to see the Suns rally to pass the Mavs for the 8th spot. Plus Suns - Lakers first round would be fun.
can't pull for the Lakers, EVER. we'll have to earn this one from the Spurs the hard way and hope they lose some other games... got to bring the Lakers down...
Hard to see phoenix winning with all the turmoil going on over there considering their "surprising" season. That Shaq trade just destroyed their franchise. They're 5.5 back, they would need to go on a tear AND hope other teams lose just to squeak into the playoffs.
I've got a bad feeling that San Antonio is going to beat LA in the 4th quarter....something we could not do last night. It could very easily be a close game in the last 6 minutes, but the Spurs are way too consistent to allow what happened to us. I hope I'm wrong though. Oh, and the Cavs will beat the Suns by at least 10.
It is pretty painful to say but go la... make the suprs work VERY hard so that they would be tired on the 2nd night of back to back.
I doubt it, Wade's team hasn't won as much as LBJ's and Kobe's. And if history has set a precedent wade has 0% chance to get MVP considering kobe was not given the nod when he essentially produced the same but had a team that was not at the top of the west a few years ago.
Ok, but you have to agree LeBron has a way higher notch to his individual numbers than Kobe right? PLUS, both teams with identical records too.. it has to go to LeBron.
Lebron will most likely get the nod. The arguement on the otherside is the weaker competition in the east as well as the lakers sweep of the celtics and the cavs.
At the risk of sounding pro-Laker (which I'm not), I have to say that I like watching Kobe's game more than Lebron's game. There's a smoothness to Kobe's game that can't really be compared to Lebron's. Lakers over Spurs and Cavs over Phoenix.
Spurs will beat the Lakers. LA wants to keep San Antonio in that 2 spot. They want the Rockets as far down as possible as they dont want to play us in the postseason where players like Gasol and Odom routinely disappear against a tough defense. Why am I not scared of the Lakers? It took collossal failures in multiple departments by us and a solid all around game by them to eek out a win.
