So has Von's dumb plays, and Yao's turnovers. I wouldn't compare him and Ryan Bowen just yet. Battier will start hitting them sooner or later. How about Battier's hustle on defense? Didn't see one other player make a diving effort for that ball. Can you imagine Wafer guarding Kobe when Ron went out?

That's just the Lakers' MO. They looked like this in the Finals last year.

Wtf...Wafer is so stupid...he has only one way to go and don't know what to do next. Like if he choose to drive and if it's defended well...and got stuck and don't have no where to go and turnover. It's like he has no alternative...no prior thinking...no thought...no brain of what if

If Battier continues to miss his open 3s, he's no better then Ryan Bowen

Yeah. If he passed the ball, it's a better chance for scoring

supposedly shane. but he just leaves him and roam around. on one play, shane was wide open, hesitated to shoot, kobe dared him to shoot, and finally shane shot and bricked. that was embarrassing.

Playing Yao for the whole quarter is not wise at all.

The Lakers really look like their on cruise control while we are playing desperate and intense and still a tie game.

Near the 4th they are going to kick it to final gear by that time we'll be running on fumes.

Why are people acting like Battier is useless?

He has Kobe off his game right now. Kobe's throwing the ball away and giving up shots.

Sure, it would be great if Battier hit some shots, but he is playing extremely well defensively.

No one. He is followig the ball and Battier has failed to punish him for that. The more this keeps up, the harder Kobe will chase the ball on the defensive end.
