    living in austin we hardly pick up any rockets games, gives me a good excuse to hit up a sports bar i guess

    Won't be as easy though, Kobe actually has an outside jumpshot.. LeBron doesn't.. and if you prevent him from driving then you are solid in shutting him down. Kobe usually takes jumpshots, but I think Shane does a good job because he forces Kobe into spots on the court where he has a low percentage (cold spots). That article in the NY Times and the article with Daryl Morey were both all about that. I think Ron is great defender, but I think he's a better defender on LeBron.. Shane is better on Kobe.

    and sorry if this was asked already, but is this the first game with shane and ron playing against kobe? I think they were hurt earlier in the season..

    The second game, i think Battier was there, but no ron

    This game today, ron and battier :D

    Why are you guys predicting a win so early? They lost #7, but their most dangerous player and the MVP of the league #24 is still there. Considering the fact that he hit a 3 right in Battier's face, goes to show you how dangerous he really is.

    We are probably be favored, but I wouldn't count on anything.

    Lakers will want to prove themselves after their recent blowout, especially Kobe after all the Wade MVP talk that has been happening lately.

    Hope this won’t happen tonight; but with two of their big men (Odom and Bynum) out of the game, the Lakers (Kobe, Gasol, etc.) may attack Yao early so that they can get him into foul trouble.

    The good thing is Yao has improved his shot blocking since these two teams last met, he should be able to avoid more fouls and block more shots...he's at like 3 bpg in the last month.

    Tell Kobe he can shoot 50 shots and score 49 points. I'd love that.

    Go Battier and Artest, show the league what it's all about (although it's not nationally televised)
