I honestly believe that White has the ABILITY to become a valuable piece of the Rox. Then again, I still believe Francis can be an All-Star.
Also everyone keeps saying he hasn't played in the league long enoug, who gives a rats butt. He averaged 8pts a game in 6 games for the Spurs. The guy can play basketball at the NBA Level, he just has not been able to fully display his worth. He was playing behind Manu, Bowen, Finley, and Mason Jr. not many people are going to get PT behind those guys, which is why the Spurs released him, not because he can not play basketball.

Hopefully he is keeping the team entertained in practice and walkthroughs with high-flying aerial exploits.
i think his 10 day is up on friday I believe he signed on the 3rd. I really thought if he was able to play in any game it would be either the raptors or the grizzlies game, but I guess he didnt get enough practice time in at all. I think he will be resigned to another 10 day and so on. Personally I do think they will take a chance on him and give him meaningful minutes but they want him to learn the system as solid as possible before throwing him out there. I think this was made because of Von's play of late. Von hasnt been attacking the rim as much (he has had success when he does) and his jumper has been off like crazy since the cleveland game, same with his FT shooting. I figure Barry to have more minutes in the playoffs but we'll see.

I just barely saw your reply. You do understand Lowry was brought here to play very significant minutes, possibly starting eventually or playing most of the minutes? White isn't even a lock to stay on this team. They're not going to treat a player who's a lock to get 20-25 mins a game the same as a player who can't even make the league.
Its not just White. It happens with every player we bring in. THANK GOD this forum didn't have this many members back when Rudy was pipelining CBA players during the blue jersey era.
