The Rockets need to be picked up on channels like ESPN and TNT more often. It isn't even the game of the night on NBA League Pass (which by the way is the Knicks and the Pistons)

Hope this time Von could pick up his game considering his performance lately.Last time at TC Von put up a monster performance against the Lakers team, which is with Bynum in the lineup. And this time,it'd be fun to watch what it's gonna play out.

    Rockets rocks!13 home winning streak!

I hope Ron and Shane give Kobe the same treatment they gave Lebron. Highly doubtful though. Kobe is too quick and he's going to be pissed from the Blazers Beatdown.

not sure whats on espn tomorrow night (probably a ncaa game since its tourney week)

but i think the lakers have the max number of national tv games so they probably cant be picked up unless another game is dropped by espn. so if they pick up this game then they'll have to drop the lakers/jazz game or something later on.

surprised though they didnt pick up this game even at the beginning of the season i mean the matchups, shane vs kobe, kobe vs artest, kobe vs mcgrady, bynum vs yao, gasol vs scola...

either way i will be watching the game on kcal 9 tomorrow night...i just cant stand joel myers and stu lantz as announcers though

isn't there a maximum number of games that a team can have nationally televised? they can't pick up EVERY game, they choose the games before the season starts, so they have to try and choose good games, some teams were supposed to be better this year and didn't up matching their predictions and were nationally televised trash imo

If Wafer can regain his shooting touch, Rockets will win easily.

If I have to be honest with you, I don't like Wafer lately...

Even Worrell mentioned that, Von is FORCING things on the basketball court. I would say he is selfish as well. Everybody is gonna struggle for some time and especially when you are a role player like Wafer is...

I have watched past few Rockets games. All I can tell is that Wafer is really forcing things. He is like:

    1)shoot
    2)shoot
    3)ok, pass

Just take it EASY. Forcing things on the court is not gonna help. Don't get frustrated and just play your game, within the offense.

But the one thing I like about him, is that he at least gets to the line.

I don't like him shooting at all. His jump shot still needs some work. He can drive though, he can drive like Jeff Gordon. Wafer will be most effective if he drives when the lane is open, attemps to drive and if he gets blocked pass the ball, or shoot when he is wide open. Other than those 3, he needs to pass and move around.

I completely agree. Sometimes he takes shots that seem to be unneeded and he doesn't seem to always be looking for the extra pass. Don't get me wrong, I have loved having Wafer on the team post McGrady, but I think he needs to improve his shot selection and cut to the paint more, similar to how he did earlier this year. If he returns to that aggressor style of offense, then I have no problems what so ever.

I just watched how Fernandez hurt by Ariza. This foul reminds me Bynum elbow Gerald Wallace to a collapsed lung. These 2 fouls are not basketball thing. I would say Fakers have already develop a cannot lose character in a bad way. No team does those bad ass hard fouls in regular season. Even Jazzhole didn't do it. Rockets should be very careful. I don't want anyone get hurt anymore.

hard to say we win easily if one bench player is shooting well. they have Kobe, Battier and Brooks are inconsistent and Yao can't guard Gasol. Maybe if Wafer dropped 30 off the bench you could say win easily, but still probably not get away with that statement.

Rockets need to keep the streak going at home but my guess is the refs along with Battier's shooting slump and Wafer's play will kill us.

    We lose 95-105

I agree with you on the refs, and maybe Battier's shooting slump being potential problems (although maybe last game is the beginning of an upswing in his offensive play). I don't think Wafer's play is going to be an integral part of a loss, unless he's just a turnstile on defense. He's basically putting up Rafer-ish numbers as of late, but he'll snap out of it. I think it's gonna be the Brooks/Lowry combo that's gonna make or break us in this one.

I think the game hinges on the Yao-Pau match-up. Whoever wins that wins. Pau will try to draw Yao away from the basket and shoot face-up jumpers or drive. Yao will try to pound it inside, which he did pretty well in the last meeting. And Yao's on the ball defense has been improving every game. I see us winning this match-up and the game 104-97.
