I trained my dog at Petsmart and it went well. I took him thru beginner and advanced training. You will get out of it what you put into it. If you work 2 or 3 times a day for 10 minutes or so, it will really pay off. I love having a well mannered 80 pound dog that walks on a loose leash. There are more expensive places to go, but since it really comes down to how much time you are willing to put in, there is no need to spend big bucks.

We took our Rott to Man's Best Friend and have had great results with her. The biggest thing about training the dog is being super consistant.

    Funny Victoria video..

    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/nFXcFHIPsa8&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/nFXcFHIPsa8&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

I also recommend Victoria, she uses some of the same Cognitive behavioral therapy techniques that people respond to and she strongly opposes hitting or shocking dogs..
