Every year now since 1994, my friends and I have always done the same traditions during the playoffs. That is the most regretable thing about this years season. The fact that we won't be able to continue it this year truly sucks. So I was wondering who else is feeling depressed about not continuing their tradition this year, and what was it? For me, it was every year we would go over to the Marquis II on Kirby and Bissonnet and save seats for about three hours so we would have the best seats in the place. Then we would all buy the same sandwich there that had a huge stick in it. After we ate the sandwich, we would all use the sticks as good luck charms and bang them on the table during clutch situations. I also would always emphatically shout out "Doh!" whenever the other team was at the free throw line. But the best part was just getting everybody together every year, (like twenty of us) to root on the Rockets like nothing else. Man I'm going to miss those times this year. ------------------ "I would like to thank... everyone... for their contriboootions" Hakeem accepting his MVP award at the 1999-2000 NBA Finals.
