Didn't you want Ron traded because he didn't fit? I am glad you have seen the light and realize that Ron fits with this team better than TMac.

yea he's been all-nba in all those years bro. obviously, coaches and media think otherwise despite his bad rep in terms of losing.

Lets be fair. Tmac was clearly not himself this year. He also fit in quite well with Yao before Yao got injured.

It's hard to say that Tmac doesnt fit well this team because the Tmac we saw this year was clearly not the Tmac of old. This is also the first year in many years where we have a lot of talent and depth.

We may not miss Tmac now, but I bet we will miss him in the playoffs when the games are close. He is the one guy who can get a quality shot off against anyone or create for others. We clearly miss this aspect of his games during crunch time. We saw it tonight and we were lucky to pull of the win. We now have Brooks handling and taking those critical shots!

As much as I love Artest, he doesnt have the handles or quickness to always break his defender down.

"There's always a certain amount of weirdness with Artest, but let's don't quibble with the details."

    Brilliant.

It's gotten to the point where I wonder why I'm even surprised at times. Why do I even bother coming in here anymore?

yea with a bajillion less talent. seriously, who in their normal mind thought with yao down, tmac injured, that we do what we did last yr? and to take a healthy utah team to 6 games and could have been different if alston wasnt injured?

again, the person who wrote this article has to talk about tracy of THIS YEAR, who clearly sucked.

No this team will not miss TMac. TMac may have had the highest pts. per game in the playoffs but what has that gotten him not pass the first round. This Rockets team will get past the first round.

Artest is playing better this year than any year that T-Mac has had besides the 05 season with the Rockets.

seriously. take yao out right now and let's see what artest can do with this talent. tell me when artest can hold down the 4th seed. then i'll agree.

people really have the mentality, "what have you done for me lately."

Tmac create bad chemistry...when he returns, he makes Yao numbers worst off, Artest number worst off, the team defense worst off and basically everything inconsistent...Yao getting less touch...Artest getting less and ....he's just bad fit for this team and i hope the GM finally get it that this team don't need Tmac based on the lineup we have now. We need to trade him and wait until his contract is up and use his $$ to sign another superstar or a 6th man or some decent players that can come off the bench.

it depends on matchups. if we face portland or denver, we most likely will get out of the first round. a tmac-led team would have done the same thing if they faced denver last year.

    v. utah, what say you?

and how can anyone disregard the talent level we have accumulated this year? we are not depending on ANY ONE PLAYER. in previous years, we've depended on tracy and yao primarily.

DD has always maintained that Artest only didn't fit with Tmac on the court.

And you notice everybody is playing better without Tmac in the lineup?? Scola is playing like All-star, Brooks is flying, Lowry is doing great, Artest is playing his head off, Yao is dominating consistently defensively and offensively, Landry is having fun and even Wafer is taking off.

I mean if this don't explain how Tmac create bad chemistry for the entire team, then I don't know what it is.

remember when everyone was confused as to why Yao and T-Mac would never have good games at the same time?

the fact that Artest knows how to play well even with Yao doing well makes him more valuable than T-Mac.
