Today's foul will probably be Yao's dumbest foul ever...that said, a 7'6" superstar who is heavily scrutinized playing hundreds of NBA games, the odds are, he will make a stupid foul like that. Im just glad it happened now rather than later, say in the playoffs.

Anyways, I'll take this win. Despite some stupid mistakes down the stretch, timely baskets were also made. I think the team is 'clutchier' as a whole compared to previous years. They've developed a sort of calm and patience during crunch time. It'll be even more obvious when Brooks can remain totally in control. He was a little shaky with the layups, going 1 for 3 in crunch time.

He should've passed to the pick at least once out of those three times. Those were some very good pick and pop opportunities he missed. But at least we know Brooks is not afraid to make the big shot or the big layup in crunchtime. He has courage, now he just needs calm.

lakers dont give a **** about road games they're saving their energy for the playoffs. they could lose every road game from now on and still be 1 seed for the playoffs

Wow Ariza just had a hard foul on Fernandez, looks very bad. Fight ensued and Odom left the bench. Very probable neither Odom or Arizia will be in Houston on Wed.

I don't think this is a bad win. Actually it is a great win, in the guest court, agasint a quality team, coming from 9-points down from Q1.

We have poor FT shooting, out Big 2 (literally Big 2) are not as effective as usual, and AB has some poor decision-making. But overall the defense is very good, and we have become a very resilient team.

Exactly! Shane and Chucky save Yao and Scola's lives tonight. Otherwise RA would have already killed Yao. :D

the FTs almost killed us, sort of like in Utah the rockets need to learn to concentrate more when shooting on the road

still i will take the win considering the nuggets got 2 buzzer beating 3s in the game from jr smith.

yao with a dumb foul nearly cost the game, but r****ds stop blaming yao,the no flight zone created by yao in the paint save the team.

I like AB,and check my post months ago hoping AB0 to be another CP3,and asking the management to build AB0 ,but rox should start Lowly to prepare the playoff.

they're still fighting with Cavs and Celts for homecourt throughout the playoffs. they will be very focused when we play them

    Grear win.
especially back to back. But YAO and scola won't give us the satisfactory reply in the painted area and all fouled out.

the ONLY reason this was an ugly game and close was because we missed 15 freaking free throws. yao ming's dumb foul really has nothing to do with it.

we significantly outplayed a good team on the road in almost all the other aspects of the game. that's what we should take away here.

Does anyone think Yao and Scola committed a bunch of silly fouls just because they were playing on high altitude? especially for yao, he is taller than anyone else in that he reacted more obviously:) :p

    Totally agree with you.

A gritty road win versus a playoff team when our best players performed poorly. Even sucked at free throws most of the game. The great teams know how to "win ugly" when needed.

Physical fatigue does count for part of the missed free throws but that also is a sign of not doing well because of mental stress.

fakers are going to get torn up by their coach. They should be motivated. I wouldn't have it any other way. Getcha popcorn ready.
