    Yeah, except Rudy Gay wouldn't have played 35 minutes a game for the past 3 seasons. He'd be on the bench up until maybe last year.

    Actually, he's quite right, and even if he wasn't, you don't have to be a jerk about it.

    Young players get a lot more opportunities on teams like Memphis than they would on a decent team. Rudy Gay might have started getting decent bench minutes a year or two ago if he had stayed on board, but he probably wouldn't even be a starter until Tracy McGrady got injured. We really wouldn't feel the same way about his talent due to lack of exposure.
