The question was: Who is the greatest flopper of all time? NOT: What player flopped the MOST? With that in mind, I'd have to say Stockton, without question. He made an art form out of flopping, usually making it hard for the refs to tell he flopped.
Malone without question. Guy was so strong ad so ripped and so big in every sense of the word, but if f***ing Matt Maloney touched him he could get a call, just amazing....ly gay. Stockton was good too, but he was small, so not as much credit need be given.
Vlade Divac. His the first, the standard and the legend of the art of flopping. His so good, he could have won multiple oscars by now, if he decide to act.
Easily John Stockton. Can any of you find the video of him introducing Sam Causell to the wonderful art of flopping in Sam's rookie season during the playoffs? That was a thing of beauty!
Surprised to see Ainge and Battier on that list, those two do or have flopped on occassion, but not like the others. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=neumann/070607 On some of the other blogs, I have been surprised to see you know who as a "flopper" ... Kobe Bryant. http://www.ibabuzz.com/warriors/2008/03/24/kobe-whines-too-much/ http://www.ksl.com/?nid=294&sid=934128&comments=true
vlad, the god father also varejao in second but mostly because of his hair we actually have a entire lineup that is probably the best charge takers in the league C: hayes F: scola F: battier g: martin g: lowry sixth man: jefferies
If you don't think at least that Scola is a flopper, you're out of your mind. The guy takes lessons from Ginobli for god's sake.
Yeah I am going to Divac as well. I remember a interview with Shaq earlier in his career that he said he hated to play against divac just because of all the offensive fouls he would draw. They guy was a master at drawing offensive fouls.
