No fine for Yao yet, why?

  1. David Stern is too chicken to fine Yao. (Chinese market, nice guy image of Yao, etc)

  2. David Stern is too guilty to fine Yao. He knew he treated Yao unfairly.

No fine for Yao yet which is absolutely abnormal for David Stern. Makes me wonder why. Your thoughts?

    2. David Stern is too guilty to fine Yao, he knew he treated Yao wrong.
    3. No, it's coming. Just wait a couple of days.

#4: Mr. Stern has set up a secret committee to review tapes of Yao's play in the past 7 years. That would take at least 6 months for them to finish watching. Be patient.

They're probably just as stunned as we all were that Yao finally flipped out.

Stern couldn't care less about what he said.

I think they just wanted to let the news die on its own. Fining will Yao will only make it to become a bigger issue.

Which means yao can talk about it all he wants until finally they crack and do fine yao.

He cant completely call stern out but I think yao should talk more about how flopping is killing his game. And how the refs keep falling for it.

It is up to YAO to make it a bigger issue.......he should do so for his own good, and the Houston Rockets good.

if Stern fines Yao, how does Stern explains how Yao made consecutive offensive fouls during that stretch?

    It's really unfair imo

Anyone remember how the refs called Yao at Cavs' home game?

I never thought his comments warranted a fine. He never mentioned the officials directly.

he talked with respect and he was straight forward. There is no reason for a fine. Other players talk so much crap all the time they go as far as putting the league down. Yao doesnt do that, he spoke like a true player should. You cant fine him, would look bad.

Yao didn't say anything that warranted a fine.

If they really got in a fight with Yao over this, he'd win. Aside from Yao being the superstar of the Chinese Market, there are tons of videos where Yao is clearly being fouled or flopped around and the refs make the wrong call to support his claim.

Only 10% or less NBA fans know Yao's complain before the fine. After the fine, the number will be ten times if no more.
    Stern is not that dumb.

I have news for some of you. Nobody but Rocket/Yao fans think there is a problem with the officiating nor do they care if there is one. Fine or no fine this is a non-story to 95% of NBA fans.

Some you act like this is some kind of giant NBA cover up that could topple the league. It is not.
