chris paul is actually pretty good at flopping on the offensive end to draw the fouls.

i wont say nash is a flopper. he likes to draw charges but he sucks at it.

An obvious flop, but that's still a foul on Yao. You can't move into an offense player like that.

too, all 3 of them flops.

flopping is part of the game. like brush back, spitballs, balks and phantom Double-plays in baseball and holding, intentionally grounding, punter running into the rusher, etc. in football.

if Yao learn to flop, chances are, over the long haul, he'd be getting more favorable calls.

Yao can flop like a champ. He just never gets the call. Any time he hits the ground, it's an automatic foul on him on offense or defense.

    You guys are hilarious!

First, there are two different things.

1 -- drawing attention to a (real) foul by making a flailing motion or falling down.

2 -- Trying to get a call when you know perfectly well that there was no foul by flopping.

As far as getting calls when there was no foul, by far the HOF flopper is none other than John Stockton. I remember a playoff game between the Rockets and Jazz where Sam Causell(sp), in one of his first years in the NBA, was called on a foul. In the replay you can actually see Stockton put his arms around Causell and pull him back so that causell made contact with Stock, at which point Stock flew back several feet and got the call. Welcome to the NBA sam! You guys hate Stock for that kind of thing, on the other hand that's one of my fave plays of all time. Very few people could flop, even if they wanted to, as good as Stockton.

Drawing attention to a foul is not a bad thing. What would you prefer, that your players get fouled and not get a call while said player "acts like a man about it," or that you r player gets the call because he puts a little body language into it? I know that I like my team, THE UTAH JAZZ, to win, therfore I want them to get the calls.

Yao just maintains his position Harpring creates the contact and flops like a fish out of water. Not a foul. The Jazz are flopping professionals.

Hmm, Yao now has what 34 offensive fouls, but 11 or 12 in the last 5 games? Half of which were flops.
