Is anybody here on either of these games on Facebook? I have just gotten started on them and need members. Unfortunately for me, these games fit perfectly into my obsessive personality. Myspace Mobsters owns your Facebook Mobsters. It is addicting. I've recently been able to quit logging in everyday. I was on it all the time for a while.
This one is tricky, once you start earning money - I am getting about $18K and hour - you don't want to leave it sitting around. I just started this about 2 days ago and I check it every couple of hours so I can deposit the money. I also wake up and the first thing I think about is seeing if I got robbed or attacked overnight. As I said, it feeds right into my personality disorder.
To be fair, I avoided all of them also, because they were just crap. But this one is actually pretty fun. That said, I've only been on a few days. But it's worth a try.
Im some of those FB games, but for me it get boring, after I play them a lotI. I was very obssesed with the fb games, but now I dont play them.
What a timely thread! About a month ago my buddy kept telling me to try Mafia Wars - knowing that my addictive personality would eat it up. I refused to do so for a week - then finally gave in just to shut him up. 3 weeks later - I'm at level 54, making $12M/hour, and have a browser open to the window all day/night long. I have a bot that runs the game for me when I'm away from my computer (or sleeping) - so I'm playing 24 hours/day. To say I'm obsessed with the game is an understatement. I can't go 1 hour without looking at my dedicated browser to the game and watch how my bot is doing. Please PM me to add me as a friend. I'm trying to get to the maximum 501 mafia size. I actually joined "facebook groups" and added hundreds of new people as "facebook friends" just to get my mafia size up to the several hundreds. Like I said, I have a very addictive personality...
I started playing mafia month and a half ago and I'm at lvl 150, so yeah I'm addicted. I don't usually join FB apps either, but a friend recommended it. Joining those apps is risky since the publisher gets all your personal info. If you complete a worthless survey through an app, they already gotcha. I refuse to play any addicting online games. I remember spending a summer indoors constantly worrying about my "Oil Empires" account a couple years ago. That being said I was really surprised how many quality gamers were recruited from clutchfans. We were badass in that game.
I spend way too much time on mafia wars. I am level 374 right now with over 1600 in my mafia, and will be glad to add anyone who want to join.

I'm almost to level 150, ang have a mafia of 41 right now. Not too big, which is leaving me vulnerable to all the "L33T" types that like to pick on people 20 levels below them. So, I just keep income just above my upkeep with no casinos (those grab the attention of attackers). Works pretty well. Since I have $8 billion in the bank, it's not like I'm hurting for money. Trying to finish up the NY jobs, but constantly having to go back and rob the electronics store for stuff so I can do the higher tier jobs is really annoying.
Are you talking about Mob Wars or Mafia Wars? I play Mob Wars all the time (though not at work-blocked). If you are talking about Mob Wars, don't deposit your money in the bank...you lose 10%. Keep it out of the bank and use it to buy properties 10 at a time (the price goes up each time you buy just one). Level 269 with a mob of 1000.
