    Doesn't make sense to me.

We made a team-for-team trade for TMac, one of the competitors of the NBA Dunk Contest. Known for athletic moves.

We also traded for SF3, a huge dunker. Crazy dunks, might I add. Also known for athletic moves.

We also traded for Gerald Green, a player who is mostly known for dunks. Also a competitor of the NBA Dunk Contest. Also known for athletic moves.

Your reasoning seems to have too many exceptions.

LeBron better hope and pray White doesn't stay in the league because he would tear LeBron a new one. LeBron tries to act like it's such a huge announcement he's gonna be in the dunk contest next year when he couldn't even do a decent dunk til the end of the all-star game after ppl stopped playing d. The dude knows how to bull his weight to the basket, but Chris Andersen would beat LeBron in a dunk contest, let alone James White..

He just can't stand the spotlight shining on someone else for even a bit.

You must have missed the Chris Andersen debacle a few years ago.

LeBron would pwn Chris Andersen in a dunk contest.

If James White sticks in the league and gets an opportunity to do his thing in the dunk contest, that would be sweet. He could put on a show.

I'd rather see him prove himself as a good NBA basketball player first though.

The reason Birdman was invited back for the '05 dunk contest was b/c of his spectacular performance in the prior year's contest.

    I stand corrected.

I wouldn't call the previous year "spectacular" but at least he looked like deserved to be there.

It still doesn't justify his pathetic performance the following year and I still believe LeBron would own him in any dunk contest, anywhere, anytime.
