I just finish looking at all the playoffs teams schedule, and this is what I think the list will look like LA SA UTAH NO HOU DEN POR DAL
man...u guys call urself Rox fans? here is how a Rox fan rank his team: HOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LA SA UTAH DEN NO POR DAL we gonna destroy everything on our path with our new super star wingman duo-Artest & Yao!!!
Any other good playoff team would be thinking this way, and I heard Daryl Morey talk about the strategy of being 2-3-6-7 rather than 4-5 just to avoid the Lakers one more round, but...come on. We're talking about the Rockets here. If we can just win one round I'll be ecstatic to face the Lakers lol. Plus it will have proven that the first round stigma had been carried away by the black angel of death (the same one that carried off Tracy's knee). This makes me sad. Entering the year I thought the first round would be a foregone conclusion .
I definitely want to meet Utah in first round. If we beat them we get double joy; if we can't, we are just not good enough and Yao should take the whole summer to work on his game. Then, I want Lakers in second round and beat the crap out of them. If we win, I want us to beat tough opponents instead of hoping/praying we get lucky.
Lol at the Rockets being 1st. That's crazy talk. Lakers already won the 1st seed pretty much unless Gasol or Kobe go out for the season. 2-8 are all toss ups which is scary. I think the Mavericks are surely going to stay in the bottom though, just not sure which seed. I believe we can be 2-5 seed if we play tough basketball.
crazy... it will happen only when Kobe, Duncan, D-Will, Billups, CP3, Roy and Nowitzki all end their seasons like our McGrady.
I would like to meet Utah in second round. We always have a below average performance while against this kind of team. They have many floppers, they play dirty, their home court look like hell and we hardly win a game at there for a long time. Even though we can beat them in first round, we might be too exhausted to fight against the next opponent. The most important for the team right now is pass the first round to find the confidence and Jazz is not the best choice for us. Our boys can learn more from play more games in playoff too. I am afraid that the team may fall apart if we lose to Utah again.
