Abdul Jabbar - perenial all star Smits - occasional all star Willis - Solid career player Bradley - mediocre, bust for a high pick Dudley - never real good, but had a career Thomas Hamilton - never made the league My first poll, hope I did it right.
Shouldn't all top 3 picks become all-stars? I mean, I don't see Ming making an all-star game, but I do see him having a decent career. I think he should be considered a bust though if he doesn't become a regular all-star. So I say he'll be a bust with a decent career...
Anti- I though about Nervous P, where do you stick him in hte poll? Last with the comment, we will never know.
Come on, Chris Dudley was classic! Probably the most uncoordinated big man in the history of basketball. Pound for pound, one of the most entertaining guys I've ever watched. Watching him get abused by Hakeem in the 94 playoffs was awesome...And that free throw motion was hilarious! I always wished that the TV would show a split screen of Calvin and Dudley when Dudley was at the free throw line, just to see the cringe on Calvin's face.
You don't see him earning a spot as an All-Star? He'll probably become a fan favorite and be voted in.
Well I don't see him earning a spot in the West, he probably would be an all-star in the east, but that's not really saying much. If he gets to an all-star game just because he's Chinese, then that's a huge joke and I wouldn't consider him a real all-star.
Godzilla! (The Chinese Version) (The Japanese Version is smaller) (Did anyone see the Godzilla vs. Bambi movie, it was a smash hit!)
I think Ralph Sampson is the best comparison for Yao. He's got that tall, wiry figure with good ball handling and decent athleticism like Sampson. I think injuries could be a problem, just like they were for Sampson.
