You guys are basically complaining that we don't have enough superstars? We have T-Mac, Yao, and Artest. Be thankful you even have that. Les is not to blame for their performance or injuries. On paper, we have one of the best teams, if not the best, team in the league.

If those numbers are even close to accurate, Les has gotten killed over the last 2 years. His net worth was $1.5 billion in March 2007.

My question is how could those HH numbers be accurate if the Rockets, alone, are worth far more than $80 million?

I don't know diddly about financial stuff so maybe somebody can explain this to me. I know one of his other businesses (FMD or whatever) had some really bad times but I just don't see how Les' net worth could be less than the value of the Rockets alone.

Artest and T-Mac are only superstars on NBA 2k or NBA live.

Yao to be fair is the only SUPERSTAR, we have. T-mac is no longer a star in this league, he is a role player now. Artest is hardly an all-star if you ask me, He probably would have been If T-Mac decided to sit out for the season much earlier.

Although, I don't believe we should complain. T-Mac should be traded for another superstar, like I don't know Chauncey Billups and Tayshaun Prince.

If you haven't heard, the Rockets froze prices at the Toy box for next year and are reducing the price of many of the tickets. Lots of that has to do with the economy, granted. However, it is still a shrewd move by Les. A greatly appreciated move at least.

What are you talking about? The Mavs are fighting for the 8th seed right now. Where is this great talent they signed? They re-signed their own players. Kidd? Kidd was gotten in a trade and they gave up a star. Finley was waived, because of the luxury tax and amnesty clause.

Star players don't leave their teams unless it's for LA/NY/CHI, because they do not want to sign with another team for less money. They can resign with their own team for an extra year and millions more.

Of course, MLE players are abundant and move all the time. I wouldn't call that breaking the bank though.
