if yao was officiated right and the refs did their job then yao will dominate the NBA period. That goes for Cavs , Cetlics, Lakers, whatever. Lebron and Kobe and team won't be able to stop in because A. they are going to foul him in the paint and hes going to make his free throws. Then the game just becomes the big guy turning around making layups. Is it the right thing to do, probably. Will the game get boring probably. Will the nba tell there refs to re correctly probably not because of this outcome. Now if yao was a white guy like larry bird, or if larry bird was 7'6 playing now getting having the same issues happen, I bet the refs would make changes and david stern will be blaming the refs, mainly because hes white and there will be a majority outcry. Even if it makes the game boring. I think this is where a bit of racism comes into play. I don't think they hate yao because hes chinese but i dont think he gets a treatment because hes not white and theres not a outcry for him.

Why? If there is nothing related to his being Chinese, I fail to find any explanation. Though personally I've never experienced any discrimination in this country, to me those bad calls on Yao definitely were of discrimination. Those refs have been so consistent in biased calls. My office mate (a Houston native) and I are thinking about hold up a sign on Mar 14 @ Bobcat game.
