And they STILL barely have anything worth buying. A lot of the places I've seen are still trying to sell HDTVs above cost, with 2 days left. Ridiculous. 50% off on their LCDs = what they go for online. At least I did get a Logitech Harmony for 40 bucks at the one out by Channelview yesterday. I wonder if they are going to auction off the remaining inventory on Sunday or what. Also for some reason they had all the Seasons of Curb Your Enthusiasm for 80% off (around 8 bucks I think a piece) I would have probably bought them if I didn't already stea... err get them before.
These were the things I saw worth getting. PS3 games when they were 50% off. Made titles like Resistance 2, Fallout 3, RockBand 2, RB trackpacks, Farcry 2 worth buying. Bundles when they were 50% off were worth it. RB2 for xbox 360/PS3 for 95 bucks. World tour for PS2 was 90 bucks. Harmony Ones were 125 after 50% off. Good deal considering I've never seen it lower than 160 after rebate on slickdeals. All of these were at the meyerland location and there were plenty in stock when I went 2 weeks ago. worth mentioning. PS3 world tour guitar bundles were 49.99 which is cheap considering the guitar alone just recently came out and is retail 69.99.
Meh. This took me a minute to find. http://news.cnet.com/8301-13845_3-10126992-58.html http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4331481&sku=L23-7324
There are a ton of different harmony remotes some costing upwards of several hundred dollars. The one you showed is really outdated.
To be fair, he didn't specify which version he got for $40. I just searched with the parameters given.
The Harmony was pretty much their lowest end one, the 510 or whatever. I searched online before, and amazon actually had it with rebate for around $50, so at 40 bucks it was hardly a "steal" but it'll do the job... sick of having to deal with 4 different remotes for the home theater.
I'm not sure which location you're checking out but I went to the Pearland CC last month and they didn't have any Live points or sub cards left. Good luck wherever you go though!
If you look closely you can tell which type of merchandise the liquidators are bringing in that was not previously there. For example, I was there last night and they had all kinds of picked over items. Then all of a sudden you see about 100 external Hard drives and all these memory cards. Pretty obvious that those were all there before. They had to of been shipped in special for the "sale". I got a wireless mouse for $25 bucks, but there was very little left. This was in San Antonio, btw.
For a really good Harmony Remote: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Harmony-880-Remote-Control/dp/B000O7I6VE?tag=slickdeals for 70 bucks but it's refurb though.
i live out los angeles when i bought a bunch about 3 weeks ago there were several there, they could be all sold out but its worth checking out nonetheless
this still makes me mad, CC>>>> Best Buy. I hate that store, and its going to be the one staying in business. To this day, it has never given a good deal. On anything.
Can you please tell me what locations you saw those games at. I went to 3 different circuit citys today and they had almost nothing left.

Sorry but it was 2 weeks ago so I'm sure it's been picked over by now. By the time my friend wanted to get RB2 there were no more PS3 bundles left so he bought a xbox 360 one and went to wal-mart to exchange it. They gave him 205 dollars credit. It was pretty tempting to just keep the credit and buy other stuff but he wanted the game pretty badly. this was the meyerland location by the way. 610 by braeswood.
I'm not surprised. Once it hit the last wave of discounts things started flying off the shelves. I was upset that the computer accessories never went for less than 30% off. There was a logitech driving force GT I wanted but it never went for less than 30%. Eventually someone bought it.
