NBA Live 2003 Good that it's coming back to PC....but I'm still not getting my hopes up. From the screenshots, it still looks like the crowd has been hit by a giant steamroller.
On a side note, I'm still a big fan of NBA inside drive for x-box... and the Pirate game for x-box was enjoyable. I think I'm going to be able to finish it. I'd give it a B or an 8.0 out of 10.
Don't you love competition? Everyone has been going 'GA-GA' over NBA 2K2, so EASports has finally decided to go back to the drawing board and make a real basketball game. The ability to run a fast break, improved post play, and realisitic rebounding,.....in NBA Live...... Thank you NBA 2K2!
cool.... at last it will be back for the PC. what about those NBA 2K2, will those be available to PC also next year?
the authentic classic jerseys are what i am most looking forward too. Here come the red and gold baby!
I'm glad 2k2 made them realize that they need to do more than regurgitate the same old garbage. I'll believe a new Live is a good game when I play it, it has a long way to go to beat up 2k2, imo.
NBA 2K2 is BY FAR the best basketball game I've ever played. I enjoyed the NBA Live series on the computer, but it wasn't all that great compared to NBA 2K2 for the Dreamcast. I doubt they will, but it would be great if they brought out NBA 2K3 for Dreamcast as well as PS2, Gamecube, Xbox next year!
Personally, there are some definite things I like about the Live series over the 2K series. -Free Throw Shooting:Free throws are supposed to be relatively easy, I have never seen a beginner convert more than 20% of his free throws in NBA 2k2 -Long two point to Three Point Shooting:Guys have to be wide open to ever make a three point shot. The only guy who can pull up and shoot is Iverson. 2K does have better extras(Courts, etc...) and rebounding though.
Yeah, 2K2 is really good. But they had it on PS2 this year, why wouldn't they bring it out for PS2 next year?
hopefully 2K2 will gives EA some ideas on how to improve their Live series, mixed the goods of both games and we will have one heck of a basketball games coming up!! EA did mention about a more realistic rebounding right?
Dreamcast is done, i was at best buy recently and i saw NBA 2k2 it was priced at 49.99 and the game next to it was 9.99, i mean wtf why was the price so high?
I was talking specifically about it being on DC. I figure it'd be on PS2, but if it comes out on DC, that would be awesome.
