if yao thinks RA is the problem then get a new coach ASAP plz. Yao is everything to the organization and losing him would be devastating. Anyways, I don't like a lot of decisions RA makes, like keeping Deke as a bench warmer when we all know he can contribute on the floor.

The excerpt about yao and adelman has no merit and is pure speculation to stir things up just like the typical media. Plus, Yao still can be that "Webber" type player I think because he did that when he first entered the league although his passing skills were not that good at the time but he had an outside shot.

Don't shoot the messenger. I think the article is speculation and b.s. Les will never trade Yao, like Clutch says, unless Yao demands a trade. I just brought you the article, from a otherwise usually respectable publication, for your viewing and flaming pleasure.

The title is not misleading. The article included these quips: "Some league insiders feel that while both Adelman and Yao are among the top coaches and players, respectively, their marriage to each other is doomed to fail." "But several executives feel that the Rockets will see what the market is for Yao at the end of the season." Note that I put the source in blocks, as is the protocol. I suppose I could have written [Some League Insiders Feel] or [Several NBA executives speculate], but [SI] is shorter, and SI is responsible for printing the crap.

I like Yao, he works hard and gives you a 100% effort every game, but if he cannot take you past the first round of the playoffs, then its time to move on and find someone who can. The NBA is a results driven business and if you have someone who can't deliver then, you get him out and bring in some one who can. Adelman has proven that his system can win and win in the playoffs. While Yao has proven he cannot. Catering to one player who has never even been past the first round would be a huge mistake.

Please ship Yao, Les. That way we'll get better officiating.

    LMAO...right on the spot^^.

I can sense how desperately some of the other teams are wanting Yao. I am not the only one thinking like this here.

Those Eastern Conference scouts continue to ponder why they can't develop the big men they draft so start rumors about the good ones in the West wanting out. When they do pick a Boozer or Chandler, they have to come to come out West to be fully utilized and have their draft pick justified.

Too much money in the air. Yao is going nowhere unless he doesn't want to play in Houston anymore.

Yao will retire a Rocket, unless he says otherwise.

fire adelman, bring back JVG. His teams were no where near as talented as Adelman's, yet won many more games. His teams didn't lose to teams that were vastly worse. Played hard every night.

It is only a bad fit if Tmac is back. Tmac took shots away from Yao at a terrible shooting rate.

the media wants yao to go to a high profile team like the lakers. just like they are trying to woo lebron to nyc. i call BS. we wont let yao go nor do i think he will go. he's invested way too much here and if he's a true confucian asian like my dad who stayed with halliburton for 30+ years, even tho they screwed him over and over in pay and hours worked.

TMAC and JVG Fans all do the same ole ISHT
Throw all the other players under the bus in order to justify *Their Guys'* short comings

TMAC - Played with 'below average' players
JVG - Coached 'below average' Players [which HE chose but anyway]

    Sometimes
    - To Paraphrase the GREAT DENNY GREEN
THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!

"They would be crazy not to at least ask around," an Eastern Conference GM said.

Naaah, Eastern Conference GM, you just want Yao don't you.

    Oh ,how about T-mac?
Yao is not the reason why Rox cannot pass the first reason,14years now that Rox cannt pass the 1round ?Oh,do you say that it's because Yao?
I think the real reason is that we havent got good role players these years!
Oh,can you imagine that Head as a team's six man that can pass the 1round? How funny that you owe the responsibility to Yao that we cant pass the 1round!
