Not really, if a company said that his woman employees need to be call B****. No matter what the contract said is illegal and the law protects abuse from a company.

The problem you have to sue the NBA and see if you can win the case, but ppl working for the NBA make to much money to clown around.

Fixing games is illegal if you said you don't fix games. If the NBA said they games are fix games like WWE, Then there is nothing illegal about but with a lot of gambling involve is a serious issues.

Hilarious. Perhaps you should do some research and see if the first amendment applies to private parties. Then come back and form an opinion once you're a bit more knowledgeable.

So, if private parties wanted to.. they could break the law anytime they wanted too under that logic... right?

You completely fail to see the point. Illegal extortion is defined as "the gaining of property or money by almost any kind of force, or threat of 1) violence, 2) property damage, 3) harm to reputation, or 4) unfavorable government action. While usually viewed as a form of theft/larceny, extortion differs from robbery in that the threat in question does not pose an imminent physical danger to the victim."

Threat of fines or sanctions for violating rules set out in legally-valid contracts is in no way extortion.

Wow...just wow. I don't think there would be any point in me trying to explain this any further. You need a lot more help than I could provide.

The NBA and David Stern can get away with it just like America in general gets away with a lot of shhhhh. Both say one thing and do something else, act like they want to fix something and then come up with something and still let it go on. Compare it to when slavery was abolished, they made a little law to make people happy but still it kept going on. Things we're covered up, just like 9-11 which can be compared to the 2002 WCF and the whole Donaghy issue.

Just trying to tell you like it is, doesn't matter what example you use. Guantanamo bay you can use too if you want, so even if you do not agree with my 9-11 comparison or whatever just try to see what i'm getting at.

Why don't you get it? If the coach blew the whistle on some illegal activities inside the NBA and the league fined him for it, then it is not legal no matter what their contracts said.

BUT, making a wrong call on a basketball court is NOT illegal activities.

Some advice: incoherent drunken posting in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday is probably a sign that you have a problem with booze.

Sexual harrassment is against the law, fixing games (as long as you admit it) isn't.
