Assault charge on kicking the shoe?? Wow. Its so funny how the feds just make up an excuse to beat the shyt out of you.
Seriously, it's not even as if she kicked her shoes violently. I kick my own shoes off harder than that. No excuse for that, but you know that cop will just get a slap on the wrist. This pisses me off.

MY VERY FIRST and I decided to ask the cop a question. Not only did he not answer my question, he wouldn't let me finish my question and just talked over me and walked off. A BIG F U to Deputy Garza and the stupid construction going on 45 to make me take the back roads. I'm glad you are doing your job, but patrol an area with traffic/houses/people and not some stupid speed trap where there is only 1 car driving down a stretch of road. /rant
Yeah, I'm usually the first one to give the police the benefit of the doubt in cases like this, but that was ridiculous. There's really no defending it. The cop says the video doesn't tell the whole story? Yeah right. It's probably worse than the video shows. That guys needs to be fired on the spot and if I were the girl's parents, I would sue the department into oblivion.
Why on earth is he punching a 15 year old girl in the back of the head, that he already has pinned? It's one thing to deem it necessary to take her down and control her, but that was certainly excessive. Sue, sue, sue.
I've been following this case since I live in Seattle. The cops kept saying she violently kicked her shoes at the cops in an assault-like manner and that they used reasonable force to subdue her. The girl actually didn't press charges initially. It was only uncovered during routine monitoring of the security tapes. The cops fought like hell to keep that video from being released, and I guess we can all see why. These guys should be fired and locked up. There's no excuse for what they did.
How did she kick them violently toward the police officers? Looked like she kicked them off a little hard/fast but nothing that would have forced the police officers there to act in such a manner. Violently rushes her, slams her against the wall, grabs her hair then slams her into the floor, puts his entire body weight on her, then proceeds to punch her in the back of the skull.
