Someone should post the link to contacting the NBA offices in Chinese basketball forums. Wouldn't it be cool if the NBA got so many responses that it crashed their servers?

I would say stop watching games might not work as effectively as stop buying jerseys as David Stern just care about money and the later is the most direct way to have an effect. stop buying jerseys for one or two months entirely would work it out.

But then again, I agree with the earlier post that Yao needs to ignite the fire a bit higher first.

Exactly! And nicely put, Stern has to know why people are angry.

I've already decided I'm not going to watch the NBA anymore until things change. Others should follow suit

Actually,YAO himself is the best man who can solve this problem. However,he never say something useful to the association. In my opinion,he should be more aggressive to not only his opponent but also to the refs and sterns.

i think the only solution is for yao to just go hard at ppl and make it difficult for the refs to call fouls on him everytime. refs adjust to the physicality of players. you can't play timid and all of the sudden go strong, refs will know right away that it is out of the ordinary and call a foul. the jazz always go hard, refs can't call all their fouls because it will foul out their team so the refs will let things slip if a team plays aggressive just like a player that plays aggressive. the team that goes hard always has an advantage with the calls.

also, if yao wants some respect, he has to b!tch a little bit more. get a T early in the game when the game isn't on the line. test the limit of the refs. chew out the refs a few games on bad calls to draw attention on the issue. trust me, refs don't like that crap. in front of the home crowd, chew them out....draw attention on bad calls. just like how all the stars do it. yao has to status in the league to warrant that kind of complain. it will get him some calls later in the game. officials are ppl, they don't want to be seen as making wrong calls. if you keep your mouth shut, you'll never get your way. it's all on yao to respond in being more vocal

E-mail to NBA could work if we have many ppl to do it. I will send one. The race issue should be included in the e-mail.

our chinese brothers should tell stern that they won't stimulate our miserable economy if yao is getting treated unfairly. u would think it be the other way around...that they'd let yao do whatever he wants to please the chinese. someone tell stern china is writing our checks!

That sounds like a good idea!! haha, who would put in money to buy some signs and banners?? any takers?? We should start off w/ something more practical like mass emailing the NBA 1st! Here is what I wrote.

To whom it may concern (Mr. Stern):

I don't understand why the NBA hasn't done anything about flopping. Players are continuing to practice the art of acting instead of playing the game of basketball. It is starting to get worse and as a NBA fan I am truly appalled by the poor officiating. The NBA is starting to turn into the WWF. I don't this is the right direction for this league. This is pathetic. Mr. Stern, you know there's a problem and yet you do nothing to fix it. There has been too many games decided by poor officiating. The bigger center's have not been fairly officiated for the past decade, particularly Shaq and Yao Ming. In last night the JAZZ vs Rockets game was once again decided by poor officiated. Yao was fouled out on an obvious flop by Ronnie Brewer. Games like this makes it sickening for me as an NBA fan to watch. I honestly think this is unacceptable and am really considering giving up watching the NBA if poor officiating tread continues. Please save the game Mr Stern and do something about the referees or players that choose to flop instead of play basketball.
