You guys are pathetic. The jazz had 29 fouls, Rockets had 18. You can't seriously think that there should have been a bigger differential. Anyway, Deron is just too damn clutch and you all know it.

Are you sure you want Yao to fight other players? I m worried Yao will be the one get smacked down!

I hate NBA referees and i know they suck badly but we just can't blame referees solely for today's loss. We lost simply because of rebounding and no one on our roster can stop Williams and Boozer.
With T-mac out now it is pretty obvious the Yao only fans will blame Artest for hoggin the ball and Brooks for shooting too much without passing Yao the ball!
Great team effort but hardly impressed as the team again outworked by the Jazz!

All I'm saying is we can cut and paste after every lost and its the same. We know, just like La knew that big guys are reffed differently. The bottomline is this is just a bad matchup for the rox. They have better players at just about every spot, a great coach, they execute well and they play hard. Their weakness aren't exposed against a team like the rox. The rox are small, unathletic, and have no versility. Now we can dig and make excuses, but fact are facts. Yao can't guard okur, scolandry can't guard boozer and no one on the team can guard williams. Like I said again, where was 31?

i know in your heart you're a rockets fan, but for right now you sound like a troll. sorry.

i bet once we all agree with you, then you'd come up with some compliments to the rockets and then some ideas how we can beat the jazz...

The refs have game-deciding calls in every Rockets/Jazz matchup. It's despicable.

It makes the Jazz look like the better team when they execute down the stretch. The rockets look terrible because they don't have as many chances. You call a guy flopping, that takes the ball away from the rockets and gives the jazz a chance to make a shot. They get so many chances, of course they're going to look better.

Sad thing is only Houston fans realize the calls the Jazz get. It is never mentioned on ESPN or any kind of national highlights.

It sucks so much. I feel bad for the players. Tough games like that being decided by a flop. Like it or not, the games are largely decided by the refs. I'm not only talking about the final 4 minutes of the 4th quarter. I'm talking about the ENTIRE GAME

What the Fxxk? the refs seem to enjoy watching jazzholes cheating, especially on Rox, if they are not participating, damn refs and their flopping jazzhole children.
Did you guys see how excited Brewer was when he fouled yao out? It was like he was showing to the world "Fxxk ya, give me an Oscar!", damn cheaters!!!
And more importantly, the refs helped them out. If the refs are going to cheat this way if we meet jazzholes again in the playoffs, we are fxxked

I can't believe everyone is complaining about the refs. We got 32 FT's to their 17 and four of theirs were on intentional fouls at the end. They were called for 29 fouls to our 18. They outscored us by a healthy margin in the paint too so let's not pretend that their team, Williams in particular, wasn't aggressive.

Want to know why they really won? It's not the refs, it's their rebounding and execution. We made more mistakes, particularly on defense. Brooks left Williams WIDE open for a three while arguing with the ref. No one checked Boozer in transition on that nice pass from Williams. Early on, Artest left Brewer twice on the baseline to help on Williams. They found seams in our defense and made the right passes for layups all night. We weren't as crisp on the other end. They gave us threes and we couldn't hit enough of them.

And let's not even argue about rebounding. Three times I saw a lone Jazz player beat a group of rockets to the ball. I'm talking four rockets to one Jazz and the Jazz gets it. And Yao and Landry had butterfingers on a lot of offensive rebounds. If they grabbed those, they would have been point blank putbacks. They were stronger on the boards and quicker to the ball.

Forget the refs, forget the missed free throws. They hit more shots and were more aggressive. Only Lowry matched their intensity. They win this one, we'll get the next. But the rockets have no excuses.

old story... sloan's strategy is to foul on every defensive play, knowing the refs won't call everyone of them. it has been like that for ages. had the refs called the game the way it should have been, the ft margin should have been wider, a lot wider.

ya, a lot of lost rebounds. but watch the replay. half of them were over the backs. it's not excuse. just a fact.

yes, we don't miss the ft's we'd win. but the other side of the truth is if we got a few more calls which we deserved, we'd have won, too.

    Glad someone else understands this.

I'm pretty sure the Jazz committed the most fouls last season, i'm not sure about this season. I just remember that by far last season they committed the most. I'm sure a lot of teams lose in FT differential when they play the Jazz.

They do it every time knowing the refs won't call it every time. Same with their moving picks.

I can't wait till the play the Lakers, 40+fts then Jazz fans will say "Refs are horrible!"

Except when it was tied with about 3mins left?

Had they called the game correctly, Memo, Millsap, Boozer had no shot at guarding Yao.

Rockets just ran out of gas against a hot team. The Jazz are tough to beat at home. No crisis. The Rockets played well and had a chance. The lack of rebounding was completely due to being tired.

It's funny. Jazz fans on their board are calling us whiners...yet they are still...STILL whining about last years Laker series.

I mean dang, that was LAST SEASON, get over it. Kobe shot more FTs than your team...rightfully so because you're team fouls on EVERY PLAY. The refs just had the balls to finally call it.

my suspicion is it wasn't they finally had the balls, it was just because of l.a. and hollywood. last year it was pre-determined a boston-la finals.
