couldn't agree more and jazz probably gives the most fouls per game in the entire league. glad it's not paying off for them.

I ditto. The truth being teams have NO answer to Yao lined up with an above average mid-range shooter. They are desperate. Look at Olympics and FIBA stats - Yao always tops the FTs. I dunno how many NBA rings Yao would have earned had he been officiated a bit more fairly.
This league is full of entertainers today, squeezing out true sportsmen.

I DONT think hes able to play aggressive. Otherwise, he'll be called out

    with 4+ offensive fouls...

    Best qoute by Yao

"I guess I don't need to worry about (a) flopper next game. I don't think Shaq's that type of player,'' Yao said.

I hate Utah. Yao won't let the Rockets lose to Utah again.

Its about time Yao Ming! Get pissed off, make david stern fine you for telling the truth, and then watch the calls change. The NBA is first and foremost a business, and because of you Yao Ming, they have 1.3 billion new customers. I guarantee that the calls will start to go your way, but you have to make them nervous first! Next time someone flops, take the ball and kick into the stands! It will be worth it in the long run.

You've got to be kidding???

Yao might get better officiating for the moment, but not in May or June.

Seriously, it's not a race thing. It's a green (money) thing! Olajuwon was black and he didn't get the benefit of the calls - neither did Drexler or Maxwell for that matter. Stern hates Houston ever since we had one of the lowest rating in NBA Finals history in '94.

Honestly, I thought that would have worked to our favor 3+ years ago vs. Dallas as I thought a Yao/LeBron finals would have ben a cash cow for the league, but evident from the infamous "Finley out of bounds" call - even though he was in the 3rd row when he "stole" the ball, I can't understand it - other than Stern still doesn't think Houston can draw the ratings that LA or some of the other teams can.

Until we get a new Commish OR we learn how to beat teams w/o having the benefit of the calls; this team is domed to repeat what it's done the last 14 years.

Yao just needs to get a T every time there's a terrible call against him. After a dozen consecutive games or so with a T, it will become a story, and then everyone will go, 'hey, i wonder why he's getting so many T's'. Then the refs will be under more scrutiny and pressure to not fall for the same bull**** flops every game. It's not like they could call it any tougher against him. He's taken their crap for the better part of a decade, and where has that gotten him in terms of respect?

Yao is doing the right thing to b**** about those BS calls, he still need to send a strong statement to refs by making several life-threatening offensive fouls on those dirty floppers.

Yao may be fouled out in the first couple of games and team may lose a few games. Thats OK and Yao should not worry about that. When Yao keeps on doing that and bring the media and fans into the picture, he definately has the advantage!! Then the refs will fell the pressure!

BECOME A TERRORIST, YAO! OR YOU WILL BE BULLIED BY THOSE r****d REFS!

Seriously, as a ref, doesn't there come a point in time when you think to yourself "hmmm....the guy that just fell is clapping and laughing hysterically, and his teammate is screaming like a maniac because I called an offensive foul.....did I just get duped??" I swear I don't understand how Yao just doesn't go ballistic one day, and give one these POS refs an elbow to the face.

Yao should make some ****ing complains and get some technical fouls, that's just 1 free throw conceded, he'll at least get one call back, and earning two free throws. + 1 point ;)
