Rockets will never beat the Jazz in the playoffs. Bad match up for Yao, Rox have to win their division to avoid the Jazz for the first round. Rox will never get calls at Utah, they just have the Rox's #.

if, through process of elimination, i systematically try to attribute this loss to one player on the team...i always come back to one guy:
    Battier.

I know his D is why we love him...but we HAVE to have a guard who can shoot...even a reliable 15 footer.
Battier hits 30% of his open shots tonite, we win.

Anyone have any thoughts on why we didn't see more of Scola down the stretch?

Is this excuse going to work when the Jazz beat us in the 1st round this year?

Even though Jazz flopped, Yao still need to do better. The rockets can't rely on the refs to call correctly everything. It is time for Yao to work on his fundamentals, dribbles, backing down opponents without fouling (even though the opponent flops.)

We can't complain every time about ref (even it is a huge problem). Winners create opportunity while losers waits for opportunity.

The rockets has to start acting like winners and start to play like one. Practice harder, maintain high energy level on the court, rebounding and defend. It has to start with rebounding and defense.

Offensively, we have to play smart and move the ball quickly.

Also Yao had 4...count them 4 horrible BS calls, what else is he supposed to do?

When you're Center is in foul trouble it affects his aggressiveness.

The frustrating thing is this is the first game in the 4th quarter that Yao wasn't fronted in a long time. The problem with Yao is he doesn't attack quick enough. He waits to long and tries to react to the defense, he needs to make the defense react to him.

Man, the Jazz really have it out for us. It seems whenever we play at their arena, **** goes down and screws us over. Brewer acted like a b**** for blatantly leaping into Yao's path, and Boozer was being a douchebag with his screaming and grunting. What was he doing? ****ting a brick?

We already have one Garnett. We don't need another.

The free-throws and rebounds really killed us. I think we just lost our focus due to the fans or something else, leading to our misses. I think you can forgive the Rockets for not being as energetic as they usually are, because of the whole back-to-back situation.

Props to Lowry and Yao. Both tried to pull us back in. I guess eight on five is just too much to handle.

P.S. Yao needs to get angry. When he gets pissed, he's unstoppable. I truly thought he was going to b****slap Brewer after that b**** move. Course in Utah, anything goes, right?

I never was on Brooks side Ever..... Even that amazing clutch shot he made against Dallas, I've always felt like Lowry deserved to start..

I don't care who finishes, just let Lowry start and play with Yao, Scola and Artest.

The 3 dynamic scorers we have on this team, minus McGrady of course the deadman.

We'll have homecourt. So it won't matter.

Guaranteed, we are finishing 3rd or 4th this year, The Jazz will suck in the playoffs because they won't get their call like they are used to.
