He wants to play for the Knicks. So, if the Knicks land Jason...you can call me Jay or you can call me Ray, but don't ever call me Jason...Williams, is it a conspiracy against the Rockets, or only if they land Yao.

Williams prefers Knicks over rest

So, how does this compare to Kobe and Steve wanting to dictate teams to play for. I'd like to see what he'll be saying when Memphis has the #2 and New York has the #3. Something tells me he warn Memphis just like Stevie. Justice will be served if Jason gets picked by the Grizzlies and West tells him he's going to be their Shooting Guard, and then Jason screws him.

oops. I mean Jay.

btw: I don't want to ever hear anyone call him Jason, anymore. It's Jay to you!

That's asinine and preposterous!...This is so great for the Rockets, for it clears the dirty toilet a tad...

Jason Williams said he'd really like to play for the Knicks. He didn't say he wouldn't play for other teams. This isn't remotely a Steve Francis situation... yet.

Of course, not. It is only the first salvo.

When Memphis gets the #2, the second salvo will come.

heycleo,

jay williams  just might be the first short shooting guard to come out that can actually play the point. he really does have excellent court vision...at least in college.

that said, his marketing ploy has begun. separate yourself as far as possible from manslaughtering morons and memphis machines of miscue.

Good thing that Francis got away w/ being able to deny the Grizzlies and coming to the Rox!!! But....there should be a league-implemented penalty that denies a top prospect a top 10 or 15 player's rookie salary if he doesn't sign with the team which drafts him. The team that really picks him should get compensated as well.

To the lay: if Jason "Jay" Williams gets picked #2 by the Grizz. and he refuses to play for them, rather, he signs w/ the Knicks, he should be denied a $15 million salary, instead get paid like a 20th draft pick. This would make him favor the Grizz over the Knicks. Plus the Knicks would and should get penalized for getting to sign Williams by having to compensate a talented player and draft picks to Memphis.

im starting to really hate the knicks. not because of jason williams, but it is very unfair what the league is doing to get them to get a great player.

Does this have anything to do with Jay Williams?

Didn't think so.

Welcome to the BBS. Nice first post.

RR, I'd actually like to be associated with the Jayson Williams. I mean, it was an accident, he's a hilarious guy, and he definitely wasn't a cancer to the Nets. Also he's the only guy in the world who'd be friends with Keith Van Horn.

As opposed to the Jason Williams, the bald crackhead jacker.

He's talking about Jayson Williams' involvement in the murder of that driver... I think he used a rifle/shotgun.

A New Jersey state police vehicle leaves the property of former Nets basketball star Jayson Williams. AP
ALEXANDRIA TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) -- Authorities believe the shotgun used in the fatal shooting of a limousine driver at Jayson Williams' estate belonged to the former NBA star.

Acting Hunterdon County Prosecutor Steven C. Lember said Friday it appeared that the shotgun was one of several Williams kept at his 65-acre estate.

"I can't tell you specifically what the purpose of the shotgun was, but it was clearly a shotgun, and it belonged on the property," Lember told The Associated Press. "We have reason to believe it was one of a number of shotguns owned by Mr. Williams." ......

Such as...?

What has the NBA done to help the Knicks out? Did they help them out by making LJ's contract remain on the payroll?

Get real.

You can hate the Knicks for whatever reason you want, but the fact that you have to make $hit up for an excuse to hate them is pretty sad.
