Forgive me if this is old news but I left town last Saturday and just got back last night...

Last week I noticed that Dean & Rog were not on 93.7. No biggie, thought they were on vacation or something.

Then I am driving to work after being in Austin for a week and Walton & Johnson are on 93.7.

Dean & Rog weren't the greatest talk radio guys but they were a lot better than W&J. I am not just pissed because they hate on Obama and other Democrats so much, they just suck. Their stupid fake voices and I'm smarter than everyone attitudes are just over the top.

If I wanted to listen to right wing CRAPPY talk radio, I would switch to AM radio, take out half my brain and then drive to work.

After looking around it looks like Dean and Rog will move to 107.5 in June. Susie is already there.

Oh well, Rod Ryan 100% of the time until June I guess... or plugging in the iPod.

Too bad Stevens and Pruitt are gone.

I wrote the station a letter saying basically just that ^^^.

Wasn't my favorite show, but I knew I could turn to it for lighthearted morning fun and a little music. I turn it on last week and they're spreading right wing propaganda crap about the bailout.I'm no obamaton, but I didn't go to the arrow in the mornings to get my obama rally on either. Now I have these yay-hoos on their spreading the Limbaugh gospel "good ole' boy" style. I think I threw up in my mouth a little.

Deregulation of the airwaves is responsible for this change.

Why can't there be a morning show that just plays music instead of DJ's that seem to think that other people care what they have to say. Dean and Rog were at least tolerable and played a decent amount of music, now 93.7 has a political talk show that plays two songs an hour. I tried Rod Ryan for a couple of days and it seemed like it was just celebrity gossip with a song here or there, half of which suck.

That's not true at all, they contradict Themselves all the time. When they refer to the G.O.P, they speak in the plural. Those guys are pretenses and hypocrites. I think they are funny, but I had to stop supporting their show when they said that blacks are lucky they “we” made them slaves or they would be running around in Africa uncivilized. I also didn’t like how they tie Obama and Hitler together, which got old quick after a two weeks.

Those guys are really irritating. I don't understand why they keep getting new chances to try their schtick. It's boring, old, and, outside of AM, played out.

For the life of me I can't remember what Stevens and Pruitt's shtick was. I remember that they had a ranch for disadvantaged or abused boys and neglected animals and that Pruitt owns and gun store and thinks all the crime in Houston is committed by "Katricians."

Don't they both do characters? Its like W&J= themselves, gay guy, big black guy

S&P=themselves, gay guy, and big black lady?

Both of them are lame and well past their freshness date.

Maybe they say that, and maybe it's even a bit true, I couldn't say. I'm not a fan... if so, it's probably to disown the debacle that is the GOP in its current state, but the crap they spewed last week is awfully current day GOP sounding to me. Granted, I've never been able to stand more than a few minutes of them, but that's all it took on each occasion.

And personally, for the record, I'm not a democrat, nor a republican. I just get enough of the complaining about the Dem's everywhere else i go these days, and we all know where most of that is coming from. Regardless, if I had my way, this two party system would be trashed and we'd be voting on people and issues, not pep rallies and propaganda.

Bottom line, their shtick sucks, and the political talk they have injected makes it suck worse. The Arrow has blundered in my opinion.

Rod Ryan is the best morning radio in Houston, IMO.

Isn't a Clear Channel thing, where they are trying to foist their right wing politics on everyone. Probably pretty pissed off Obama won.

When I used to listen to morning radio talk, I liked Stevens and Pruitt the best.

When they were gone, I liked Dean and Rog.

Walton and Johnson are too silly.

But I don't listen to morning radio any more. Too much crap. I plug in my MP3 player and listen to music.
