Tracie McLady is a blubbering vadge. She won't be back. Maybe she can compete in the wheelchair league, or maybe can coach a WNBA team.
He'll start practicing with team in 2009, play after all star break and sign for cheap with Rockets for a couple of years.
most of the posts seem to be about what folks "want" to happen, buit not much serious discussion on the possibilities. Has "Has T-Mac played his last game as a Rocket?" I agree with most of you and my "wish" would be yes, but what do you think are the realistic odds of... (1) they trade his expiring in offseason because 9a) Rick and Morey are finally fed up with his antics and so they can go after free a big free agent (I'd say 50/50, depending on Artest resigning and what they could get for Mac's contract) (2) management continues to stubbornly stick to the Yao/Tracy plan and they wait for him to rehab and he comes back mid-season (unfortunately, I think this may be the flip side of the 505/50 chance above) (3) surgery and rehab don't go well and his career is over (this sadly, is a slight possibility as well; yeah, I know a lot of you could care less, but I would not take any joy in seeing anyone's NBA career end like that) What say you? (Any serious discussion, besides "he needs a heart transplant rather than knee surgery" type stuff?)
Tmac will get traded this summer.. drop 50 pts on us for the heck of it..be MVP next year .. and laugh our faces in june..i dont care what all of you say..
what are the odds that tracy comes back as t-mac? he's done. amare got microfracture surgery early in his career, i think he was what? 21-22? tracy is 30 years very old player. he already lost his explosiveness and that's before the surgery and people still thinks he has something left? trade tracy to china for bonzi wells and kirk synder.
Well, McGardy can wait for the Celtics to waive Starbury next season and insert himself in their lineup just like Starbudy did a season earlier.
