Yeah everyone else stepped up, but still I feel the fronting is a problem.

Sure Brooks and crew made their shots tonight...and if they aren't making it then what do we do? That's what Adelman needs to be prepared for, because game 4 or 5 on the road in the playoffs...some of these role players will suck, and when they do it's on the team to get Yao the Ball and then on Yao to make something happen.

I know Yao can carry this team, 7 shots is good for us to beat the Twolves sure...but look at how many shots Yao needed to beat the Cavs. Everytime the Cavs tried to get a run we would hold them off with Yao. That's what he needs to do.

Drew Gooden is available....they ought to sign that guy. 16+ efficiency rating.

And we don't need yet another pf. We already have the deepest pf rotation in the league

lol i know feigen likes the team and yao, but let's not overblow the whole "yao barked lets get a stop and they did it", this is the freaking twolves minus al jefferson........if you leave in yao, it should be to figure out how to rotate the ball around fast enough to get an opening to pass to yao......not how to find some guy open from the perimeter to jack a shot up.

Ideally Gooden is a bench player, not a starter as he has been with Orlando, Cavs, and Bulls. He'd add much needed size when Yao sits without taking away a scoring option (eg Hayes or Deke). He's an average defender but he'd still be an improvement over the give-some-layups Scolandry when both are on the floor.

No he's a Center...he can play both PF and Center. This way Yao and Scola can get some rest. You notice Scola never get much rest because when Yao sit, Scola take over as Center. Plus Gooden 16+ efficiency rating is pretty impressive..2nd best behind Yao if he's on the team. YES better than T-Slack 15+ rating. So i mean if you have 16+ efficiency rating, you must be pretty good. WHy not try to lure him here....and he's FREE.

Um, you don't win games, you get eventually get fired. Especially when you are one of the highest paid coaches in the league and your owner can get a cheaper replacement to give similar results. It's even more true in these economic times.

Also, just this season the T-Wolves, Thunder, Kings and Grizzlies fired coaches in situations where they knew they were at least a year away.

Yao playes with a lead that big because he wasn't on the floor when they built that lead. Sure I would have like to see him rested, but its not like he played the whole fourth quarter.

AB has to learn to pass the damn ball to whoever is in the best position to score at the highest percentage. We are an above average 3P shooting team, but we can't rely on it to win games or to hang on to leads. As the PG on the team, he has to look to pass.

I like Adelman's plan to run and try to get easy points on transition. If that is not available then they gotta go to Yao, a set play, or whoever happens to free themselves into a position to get the easiest score. Plain and simple. When Yao has gets deep position and is open for the pass that opportunity cannot be missed. Same goes for anyone else that gets deep position and has a good opportunity for an easy basket. AB has to be looking for this. AB needs learn, practice, grow an inch or twelve. Whatever it takes. We are not going to get too far if he can't make these passes.

Adelman really needs to figure out and teach the team how to beat the fronting on Yao also. All I saw today when Yao was being fronted are Rockets players standing around on the perimeter hoping that Yao somehow gets free. There was also lots of hesitation even when there was a brief moment when a pass may have worked. I'm no bball expert, but shouldn't they at least be trying to cut, PNR, or something? Why are all the rest of the players standing around just watching yao try and fight for position again the two or three players that have him sandwiched? Come on, Adelman.

Yeah, I was glad to see Yao and the team get some practice against fronting defenses. And I hope other teams keep fronting Yao, because that's the only way this team's going to learn.

Carl entered the game for Yao in 3rd qtr when we built the lead to 15 points (79-64). Yao went back to the game in 4th qtr for Scola, 93-78.

I don't know where did you get the information that Yao wasn't on the floor when we built the lead in this game.

Currently it takes AB to decide when and how to pass to Yao. There are often chances last one second, but you can not get by wondering another two seconds. AB definitely need improve on that, otherwise start Lowry.
