We don't need Yao, but a fresh and healthy Yao, in the playoff. Coach Adelman is not smart at all in managing Yao's PT. Playing him the whole quarter in the regular season is a NO NO; also playing him unnecessary is a big NO NO.
You watched the game tonight? He OVERUSED Yao when we were up like 15,what's his problem with that lead?Is it safe for him to rest Yao on the bench?Obviously,he didn't trust anyone in the 2nd unit to put away the T'Wolves.
nice win?great win? No ,thanks! Rick Adelman is crazy tonight! Why he still put on Yao on the court at last 3-4 minutes? We can see that Yao cant move at last 3-4 minutes! Maybe somebody of FOX is right!Yao may hurt again in this season!I think before the playoffs!Just because this kind of use! Rick Adelman is not a good coach at all!
I have an idea, how about practicing it in practice! We can use that 7 foot centers we have, one of the greatest defensive center ever, you know, DIKEMBE MUTOMBO. You talk about tempting fate, you'd rather tempt the fate of injuries (something that has haunted the Rockets almost 15 years) just to learn how to practice against fronting!?
a very much needed win considering rox extremely tough schedule of march... played yao too much though...the big man could have used some much needed rest in the 4th quarter...
Nice bounce back win. Still can't get over that loss last night, but it was jus a lil bump on the road. We'll be fine!
This so stupid, no coach would punish Yao, more wanting to work on fronting done by teams, which BTW has been very successful for those of you from China. Give RA a break, the fronting issue needs to be fixed now and Yao's stamina needs increasing if the team is going to be successful in the playoffs. Stop coomplaining about his time and let the coach do his job.
anybody noticed the face of yao after this game. looks not happy, he even did not pat with our bench.
The Chicago game was a wake-up call. If it hadn't happened in Chicago, it might have happened tonight vs. Wolves. Good thing it seems as if the team has learned its lesson.
practice fools! we are trying to over come the fronting. Some of these fans members are stupid, think next time before you post. go Rockets!!!!!! we get the W and that's we should be talking about. Not crying like a bunch of P**y's
Besides, I'd rather give our bench some playing out there and get them ready for the long haul then keep our franchise player out there to learn how to beat a scheme that should be figured out in practice. We talk about needing some more production from the bench, then play them.
Lakers losing some games now is a blessing in disguise. Losing games will prompt them to take a critical look at their games and introduce improvements before the playoff. If they won all games up to the end of the regular season, most probably they would become complacent and over-confident come playoff time.
