for the old timers, and young alike. if you listened to AM radio at any point, chances are you heard him. http://www.swamppolitics.com/news/politics/blog/2009/02/paul_harvey_the_rest_of_the_st.html
RIP I enjoyed listening to late night replays of Paul Harvey when I was a kid. I had horrible insomnia and generally fell asleep listening to talk/news radio on a timer clock radio I had.
I remember I used to listen to him when I was a kid in Houston. He had a great voice for reading those pages.
I don't particularly love the radio, but I loved his broadcasts. RIP Now we know... the REST of the story.
he was a bigot but i guess the guy was too freakin old so i will give him a pass, he was from a different era best luck to his family
he ruffled a lot of feathers with remarks that can only be interpreted as bigoted or xenophobic. but at least he was honest he said something once that belittled katrina survivors and another time he made a stupid comment about iraqis and cockfighting or whatever. he was subtle with it but there is no doubt in my mind he was bigoted but again the guy is from a diff era and iam sorry did not mean to derail this thread. best of luck to his fam
