Actually, I think we need to shoot more 3's. Hell, we should put up 50 of them. Who cares if their runners, or off balance. 17ft shots are overrated anyway. That Michael Jordan used to shoot em and what the hell did he know. No shots closer that 25ft....that's ROCKETBALL!!!
EXACTLY. Everyone blaming Artest for this loss is silly. Blaming Brooks for not passing to a guy who was NOT OPEN is silly also. This was the same problem with Alston. We did nothing to free up Yao, we called all those time outs and not once did anything change.
Unbelievable. I love the Rockets but I can't believe how one-dimensional this team is. Yao is simply not good enough to get past the fronting when things get tough and none of our other players can step up. All the criticism we get from the pundits is well deserved until we can prove otherwise.
I used to feel this way too, but at this point, it's getting to be ridiculous. It's no longer a single isolated incident. This happens every single game.
And what was that bit at the end there where Ron needed several hugs to get his ass of the court??? Are you kidding?
Answer= 9 times out of 10 when Yao tries to fight his way back in front he is called for the foul. If the coach was really that good he woiuld fix it so easy by usung Scola as a pick and thus getting Yao free to receive the ball. If he doesn't get this done soon every team is just going to do the same thing! Its gone on long enough Adelman open you eyes and fix it!!!!!!!!
This game was clearly on Yao!! He was playing scared with 5 fouls, can't even get in position to give him the ball. What's the point of coming back in the game and do nothing. He did nothing on offense or defense. I don't get why they don't run some pick and roll, and let Yao shoot those 15-17 jumpers. Seeing him losing to Brad Miller in the post is just sad.
Another fourth quarter collapse, nothing new. I cannot understand why Adleman continues to leave Brooks in while he wasn't making his shots, turning the ball over, and struggling on defense. Sigh....The only solace is that they have another game tomorrow to wash away the bitterness of this one.
Aaron Brooks is just fine as a starting PG. Damn people, we had a 17 point lead, calm the **** down. The Rockets did this same stuff when they won those back-to-back championships.
