Uh...they had the best record in the National League despite losing 2 very good starters (Oswalt and Astacio) for most of September (and as it turned out, October). Once again, they were up among the league leading teams in offense. Why would you say that last year was 'ANOTHER poor season'? Their season was excellent. They did experience another poor playoff. Is that the same Neifi Perez that is currently hitting .223 with a .244 OBP?
Yes, the same Neifi Perez who has a career .308 OBP & 2.18:1 K:BB ratio. He really would have helped.
