Garmin StreetPilot question

    I've noticed this lately. I'll be driving from A to B and it'll give me a certain route. Next time I drive to this same A to B it tells me a completely diffferent route. How come sometimes it changes what it's told you before, when you're not doing anything DIFFERENT then you did the first time?

    Maybe it's factoring in traffic data and giving you different route to avoid traffic snarls.

    I've noticed this since I was five-years-old. North is up, and streets are easy to understand.

    Lake the other poster said, perhaps it was factoring in traffic (raw data...not live).

    My Sony nv-u94t keeps logs of my routes, and uses the same way I've traveled before.

    i've noticed the same. I think it's based on traffic or rules.. (i.e. certain highways here are HOV only at certain times, and it seems to have me avoid those. But maybe it just assumes bad traffic there)

    but this requires an extra antenna or something i do not have. and the roads Im using don't have an HOV lane. Ive emailed Garmin this ? and Im just waiting on a response
