nah, we beat the Spurs we get a inch closer. Only 2 and half behind them now and they go to Portland next...so you know on Sunday I think we could actually be over them or tied with them for the division.
I mean the Cavs beating the Spurs put us 2 and half behind them. So we gotta beat Chicago and Minny and we'll be right behind the Spurs.
I'm a bit nervous about this one. For one, the Rockets haven't been all that great on the road. Secondly, I'm afraid the Rockets will continue bad habits and play down to their competition in Chicago, leading to the Bulls going crazy and the Rockets unable to retaliate. We beat the Kings and the Bobcats, both bad-to-mediocre teams, so I'm a bit more comfortable now. I'm thinking this'll be a win, but expect it to be much closer then it should. Rockets: 93 Bulls: 89
Well, this game might tell us if the Rockets are truly past our bad habit of playing to our level of competition or if we were just feasting on home cooking.
This is definitely a trap game. The Rockets cannot have a let down here. Houston hasn't played well on the road. Even though Chicago got beat down by the Wizards in DC, the Bulls are a good home team. They might be especially pumped up with the deaths of Norm Van Lear and Johnny "Red" Kerr. Their last two home victories were blowouts of the Nuggets and Magic. The Rockets better bring their A game and show a killer instinct. It should be a close game, but one Houston should win.
Should be an easy win. If we could rout the Cavs, calving the bulls should be a piece of cake. Btw why is "rafer" in the address bar of this thread? http://rafer.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=163669&page=4
I dont think it will be easy, we should really fight hard and dont underestimate the bulls. so many time we lost to sub.500 teams esp on the road.
i thinks this game will be hard because Bulls has lose they road game in Washington last night.. ATTENTION!
One thing important , do NNOt let YAO play more than 36mins,he had played 40mins vs Clev,we are badly need him in the playoffs!!!!!!! We need him to be healthy ! Pls,RA,let the bench play more in the garbage time!!!!
I think the Rockets can't wait to get back on the court to continue their chemistry-filled play. We'll know within the first five minutes if this team is ready. I say 27-17 at the end of the first and we never look back. Rockets win 99-82. 7.
Rockets win! 94:87. Scola for double-double, 4-6 3pt for Brooks. I should think if Yao gets >20pts we are in for a good game.
I definitely think the Rockets will come away with a win. But I will be watching a couple of players closely. Wafer- I love Wafer but has anyone else noticed that he can be a black hole on offense? When he gets the rock he seams reluctant to give it up. I also love his energy, but at times he is very erratic. I definitely believe he has more plus's than minus's but this may explain we he has bounced around the league a little. I think we have very strong veteran leadership on this team to be able to reign him in. But I will be keeping my eye on this. Brooks- He doesn't seem to be handling the pressure as well as I would have liked since becoming the starter. I like what Brooks brings to the table, but I am still reserving final judgment that he can be a starter for this team until I see some consistency. He has all the tools he just needs to calm down and play within the confines of the offense. The team has been playing great team ball lately. Battier is back to his old self. Scola is solid and capable of big points on any given night. Yao is asserting himself more. Ron is playing good and his presence along with Battier has lifted the entire teams defense. This team definitely has the tools to get out of the first round and possibly much further if everything aligns correctly.
Bulls are on the 2nd leg of back-to-back games tonight. We should have more energy and fresher legs. Rox easy win!
