I dont know if anyone else noticed this, but does it seem like Turkoglu is a want to be point guard? He is the Tracy Mcgrady of our system. He doesnt like to play within the offense, he takes tough jump shots and lacks the athletic ability to stay with his man. I have been watching today's game against the Pistons and their are countless times where Hedo has ignored Alston and taken a tough jumpshot or thrown a terrible entry pass. As I say this Hedo just threw the ball out of bounds. Anybody else share the same sentiments as me? Players like this just make you scratch your head and I am comparing a healthy Hedo to a one legged Tracy. Tracy does play out of the system healthy or not though.
Turkoglu was one of the big reasons why the Magic made the playoffs last year. He might not be putting up the stats like last year but he's still good. As besides, the Magic offense is predicated on everyone not named Dwight Howard shooting as many 3s as possible.
I understand what your saying I am just talking about this season in general. Im more or less just baseing my statements from today's game, but to me he just doesnt fit to well. He seems very selfish.
Dude IS playing for a new contract so that might have something to do with it. And aside from Lewis and Howard, Turk's their best scoring option.
I'm not sure he is part of their problems, he's good at getting to the line, setting up his teammates, he's just shooting closer to 40% from FG than 45%. He is average defensively, because Wally from Cleveland was schooling his ass, and Wally is not the wally of minnesota.
I guess its easy to see flaws when your team has been playing the best team ball in the league the last two weeks.
Would that be a ring for getting into the WC semifinals? I didn't know they handed out rings for that.....
He doesn't have any rings. The only Turkish player with ring is Memo Okur(pistons championship). But Memo Okur is a fagg*t, Turkoglu is a great player, he deserves more than Memo.
How dare you compare Hedo to the despicable T-Mac? Hedo doesn't try to destroy his team, doesn't quit on his teammates, and doesn't b****-and-moan constantly. And Hedo is right to not trust Alston. Who the hell in his right mind would? While Hedo is having a terrible shooting season, his percentages are still significantly better than Alston's.
I'm actually quite impressed with hedo's stats, 17.3ppg 5.30 rpg 4.8 apg down from last season, but still great would love to have him on the rox, if he had 10 more ppg his stats would nearly look identical to kobe's heh
