Both say NO won, 95-94. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/boxscore;_ylt=Aiixyxp5GB4EaVxba_BUBk28vLYF?gid=2009022703 http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=290227003
Lakers haven't problems with the friggin Nuggets. You know...the Lakers all of a sudden don't look all big and bad without Bynum. Lamar and Pau being the soft bigs they are, they are getting OWNED by Chris Anderson...just pure OWNED. I'm starting to think our front court could handle theirs without Bynum...
Odom has stepped up and had some really awesome games since Bynum went down. But it doesn't mean a thing if he pulls his normal disappearing act at some point in the playoffs.
Man the Lakers are with every other Western team without Bynum. Odom and Pau are getting abused on the boards, I don't know the numbers but from the looks of the game it isn't pretty. Hopefully Kobe can pull of his usual stuff and beat the Nuggets, but i'm thinking Landry, Scola, Hayes, and Yao are tougher than the softies the Lakers trot out at Center and Power Forward with no Bynum.
Yao should be watching this game, this is how you punish softies like Bargnani and Bosh, you hit layup and layup and slam it in their face.
Yep, Lakers didn't look like the clear-cut favorites to come outta the West tonight. Maybe it's better to get them in the 2nd round when Bynum might be just returning.
One bad game means nothing, if you think the Lakers are going to be weak because of tonights game, I pity you. Lakers played badly tonight, they only shot 31% in the first half and they were only down by 6. If any other team played that badly, they would of been blown out.
Gasol had 18/10/2 not a bad game for being ABUSED, in all honestly, the Lakers still look like the favorites in the west
If the Lakers and Nuggets meet in the 2nd round, it will be 4-1 Lakers. 4-2 if the Nuggets are lucky.
Umm, why are people bringing up stats when it comes to rebounding? Who actually saw the game? Those rebounds they were getting were Rebounds they were supposed to get. Also to those saying one bad games means nothing, you realize this is the same logic ESPN and Charles used when talking about the defense we played on Lebron?
No, you're right. It's solely based on tonight and not that in previous years Pau and Odom has disappeared when they were most needed.
