It sucks that this whole thread has been devoted not to the article posted, but rather the manner in which it was posted. Anyone surprised that Morey considered LeBron to be easily the best player in the league? I wonder what all the GMs would say in a survey.
I found it funny that Morey said we had the whole MLE minus Dorsey's salary, when I am almost certain we used some of the MLE to sign Carl Landry. DD
Lebron is the best player in the league. Kobe is great and so is Paul, but Lebron is so versatile. He's good in the half court, he's amazing in transition, he's a great rebounder, a good shotblocker, he does everything. He plays with so much energy and he puts his stamp on every game he plays in. Then you conscider that physically, there is no better athlete in the world that can touch him. 6 8 260, incredible speed and leaping ability. incredible strength. The championships will come when he gets a little talent around him.
