Old School, Why isn't collage baseball as hyped as Football or basketball? Texas is a hot bed for baseball talent, and the programs from the state are proving that. Rice is #2 in the country, with Houston and Texas not very far behind, and I haven't seen one of these teams play a game on tv.
I saw Texas v. Nebraska play for the Big 12 championship in softball over the weekend. Maybe that is what you are thinking about.
Rice website says Tuesday, May 14. You can watch the game for free (& BYOB) from the bleachers behind the left-center field fence. http://www.riceowls.com/sports/baseball/schedule.asp?SEASON=2002
Cy Falls has two pitchers that are supposed to go in the first round this years draft. Texas is a baseball hotbed. There is a freshman pitcher from magnolia(my school) that might be a pro in four years. That would be cool because i could say i know a pro player. By the way, in the picture abouve, she looks like she should be playing in the MLB if you know what i mean.
eddie.. i watched cyfalls against my high school team a few weeks ago to seee what i thought of kazmir..
