Hope this is a good a place as any to ask around. Since I am somewhat new to the area, I am looking to establish a legal team of sorts that would function as a point of contact should I ever require their services. So two items: 1) what kind of lawyers should I have on my speed dial, just in case? and 2) give me the name of a lawyer or a firm that is reputable and well established in the Houston area and beyond. I am mostly interested in lawyers you guys have had positive experiences with. I noticed there are a lot of lawyers on this board, so thought this might be a good place to start and get input. possible fields: 1 - civil rights (ACLU type lawyers I guess) 2 - criminal 3 - family 4 - other >>> you tell me
Damn, when I move to a new place, I'm looking for good places to eat. lol. Have you had "issues" in the past or something?
I already know lots of Houston eateries but I think its more fun to try out random places and find out on my own. I savor the dining out experience, I am not overweight from nothing. But no, I just like having a plan for everything, even the most most unexpected. It is just how I live my life. I am sort of like a fatter Allen from "Two and a Half Men"
Make friends with an attorney in your real life. They'll be able to refer you to appropriate counsel should you get into trouble. Unless you're a mobster, you don't need a legal team on standby. The other possibility is that you're wealthy enough to need this sort of counsel on a regular basis, in which case you shouldn't be seeking advise like this here
