News: Landry had hoped to be back from his sprained right ankle by Thursday, but he was struggling through on-court tests, the Houston Chronicle reports. "It's still swollen a little bit, it's still painful some moves, some drills. I'm not as comfortable as I was before the injury. I just went through a little pain. Every day I wake up in the morning and think, OK, I think I can go today. I'm getting close, getting closer. But not yet."

Thanks for the update. No reason to rush Landry back on the court with all the issues he had last year.

Take your time. We are doing just fine without him.

I wouldnt mind having him come back so Yao can start getting some more rest...but, then again, no reason to really rush anything.

I'm hoping that ankle heals soon, and isn't a nagging problem.

I cringe ever time Hayes is out there....

it sounds like Carl is a slow healer. The knee problem last year kept him out for a while and now this.

Not that I don't want Landry back, but Scola and Hayes have been great this homestand. Hayes has been playing shut down defense on anyone trying to post him up. Scola is Mr. Consistent. Dare I say our defense is better with that tandem.

Let him rest til he's 100% for the playoffs, just like the Celts are doing with KG.
