Morey's crazy, Kobe's got to be the best. You're up by two points with 30 seconds left; who are you more afraid of with the ball?

if you put lebron on the lakers then i'd say lebron. Right now cavs still don't have enough weapons to justify not doubling lebron when that happens. Kobe has some real threats he can pass to.

Kobe's offensive game is more balanced. He can beat you in more ways. But LeBron is just so good at getting to the paint and making plays there, especially in close games, that it's hard to put anyone ahead of him.

Yao may have put up the numbers but these guys did there job

its quite obvious.. I think every one on the Team does what RA tells them too... with the exception of Wafer...

I kept noticing that Wallace was basically unguarded on the offensive end, making them play 4 on 5. its good to see other teams have that problem. :D

Cavs have ALOT of weapons, but it seems like they dont when we shut him down. They have good shooters in Mo Williams, Wally Szerbiak, Delonte West, Daniel Gibson, Ilgauskus can hit a 20 footer. So its not like they dont have enough weapons, however I will agree that Kobe does have more threats than Lebron does. We did a hell of defensive job on the so called King though huh?

Kobe has better role players, Odom and Gasol could start for most teams. Lebron doesn't have that 2nd tier star player like Kobe has (2 of them).

It's really a tragedy that we have the closest thing to a solution to the likes of James, Bryant, and Pierce while having to field the team with a $20M handicap.

I laughed at the description of Yao being a tree :)

I think that D has improved since the All-Star break and the result was a defensive win over the Cavs.

Rockets have a bright future if they keep Artest and Battier next season.

An excellent article on why defense wins championships and what it takes to stop a superstar. However, give me Kobe any day. Kobe shoots lights out from anywhere on the court and makes him more dangerous than Lebron shooting fade aways from 20 ft and beyond. Plus Kobe takes little effort to make his shots.

This defensive strategy does work on Kobe to a lesser extent, why, he has more talent than Lebron.

i agree.. the way artest was going underneath the screens with lebron.. that can't be done with kobe.. if lebron can improve his shot watch out.. there'll be no way you can stop him
